With a background fashion, art, design and education the team at Art and Soul NZ are all about people, books and clothes!
We produce beautiful nature–inspired images onto cards, bookmarks, prints and canvases that are now available for tourists to take home and New Zealanders to give as gifts.
Art and Soul also produces quality T-shirts available from selected retailers nationwide, so keep an eye out in stores.
Already here in the beautiful Bay of Islands where we are based, some quality homes are showcasing the designs in kitchen splashbacks with fantastic effect.
We think that it’s wonderful to be part of an ever-evolving business which combines nature, healing, art and design.
About the symbols of Art and Soul NZ.
Robert Van Der Touw (artist and designer) creates his art and design based on his passion for New Zealand nature and his extensive knowledge of native plants which he has researched for more than twenty years. Each image is created with the intent to capture the plant’s individual and special healing gifts.

About the Maori designs in Robert’s art.
Maori design images incorporated in some of Art and Soul NZ images were gifted to Robert by a Maori master carver in appreciation of his journey with the plants and animals of New Zealand. We use them with the honour and respect that was gifted in the original carving, to share with the wider community and to enhance the beauty of the images.
